My journey so far..

I earned my Masters in Marriage and family Therapy from Northwestern University and gained clinical experience from The Family Institute in Chicago, IL. My education and clinical training is based in systemic, evidence-based care for individuals and relational systems. These experiences have shaped me into a therapist who is curious, relational, and grounded in cultural humility.

Modalities I use in session

My therapeutic approach is relational and integrative that honors every client's unique strengths and challenges through collaboration and intention. I draw from several modalities including IFS, EFT, CBT, DBT, and attachment-based therapy to support your specific needs and goals. I also view therapy through a systemic lens, always keeping in mind the bigger picture of how your relationships, identities, culture, and environment shape who you are.

Populations I love to work with

I work with adults, teens, couples, and families from all backgrounds. I’m especially passionate about working with folks from BIPOC communities, those with complex faith backgrounds, and clients across the LGBTQIA+ spectrum. I also offer Christian counseling for clients who want to integrate faith, prayer, and scripture in the therapeutic process.

What working with me is like

As a therapist, I believe in showing up as a real human with warmth, authenticity, and deep respect for the experiences you bring into the room. I welcome the messy, imperfect parts of life and relationships, because that’s where so much of the meaningful work happens. I aim to create a space where you feel truly seen, supported, and safe enough to bring your full self into the room.

In session, we begin by cultivating a strong therapeutic relationship for the foundation of our work, one that is based on respect, safety, and connection. I don’t believe in “fixing” you. I believe in walking alongside you as you reconnect with your strengths, gain clarity, and move towards the life you desire. We’ll work at your pace, with your goals in mind, and I’ll bring curiosity, compassion, and presence into each session.

Outside the therapy room

When I’m not working, I find joy in slow, quiet mornings, searching for the best local matcha, and spending time with my husband and golden retriever pup. I love honoring my inner child by going to Disneyland and watching Disney movies, as they bring me comfort and familiarity. I also love to invest in my ongoing growth and learning, professionally and personally, to continue showing up with informed care for my clients and community.
