Unlearning Perfect
An 8-week group for women in their 20’s and 30’s who are tired of managing anxiety and perfectionism on their own… and are ready for something deeper than coping strategies.
Together, we explore how anxiety, overthinking, people-pleasing, and high self-criticism are often rooted in nervous system survival responses shaped by trauma and chronic stress. Through trauma-informed psychoeducation, you’ll gain language for what you’ve been experiencing and understand why willpower hasn’t been enough.
Just as importantly, this group offers a space for connection. A place to be honest, relatable, and imperfect, alongside other women who understand the pressure to “hold it together.” Healing happens not only through insight, but through being seen, supported, and less alone.
This is a space to learn, soften, and practice safety, with the girls!

Meet the Therapist! 〰️
Hi, I’m Andrea!
I am so glad you’re here!
Welcome to “Unlearning Perfect”. I am thrilled that you are here and wanting to take a deep dive into the most important work you will do, your own healing.
As a therapist, I believe in showing up as a real human with warmth, authenticity, and deep respect for the experiences you bring into the room. I welcome the messy, imperfect parts of life and relationships, because that’s where so much of the meaningful work happens. I aim to create a space where you feel truly seen, supported, and safe enough to bring your full self into the room.
I’ve often found that women struggle to find a place to navigate their anxiety, perfectionism, and people pleasing in a way where they feel truly heard and understood. Many of us have beliefs about ourselves of being too dramatic, too much, not enough, or too emotional. That stops here. I welcome your full self to these groups and can’t wait for all of us to get to know each other, explore these parts of us, and create ways of self expression and regulation where we feel fully aligned with our highest self. The cherry on top? We get to find it together and build community.
I am looking forward to meeting each one of you!
Healing isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about feeling safe enough to be yourself.

This virtual therapy group is for women in their 20s and 30s who feel stuck in cycles of anxiety, overthinking, people-pleasing, and perfectionism, and are ready to understand why those patterns exist, not just how to push through them.
If you’ve ever thought to yourself:
“Why am I so anxious all the time about everything and overthink everything to death…”
“I try to be the best at everything but always feel like I am failing..”
“I have to do this right or its not worth doing at all”
“I can’t relax until everything is handled”
“Im tired of holding it all together, when will someone take care of me..”
Then youre in the RIGHT place.
Together we will explore how some of those beliefs and patterns came to be and how to shift out of “doing” and into safetly “being”.

What to look forward to inside the group
This 8-week virtual therapy group for adult women in California offers a supportive, trauma-informed space to gently understand these patterns, connect with others who truly get it, and begin building a different relationship with anxiety, perfectionism, and self-worth.
Week 1 – Understanding Anxiety & the Anxiety Cycle
We begin by learning how anxiety functions in the body and mind, identifying personal triggers and patterns, and understanding the cycle that keeps anxiety going. You will leave with greater awareness of your anxiety responses and a foundation of safety and connection within the group.
Week 2 – Trauma, CPTSD & the Nervous System
We will explore how past experiences shape present-day anxiety through the nervous system and survival responses such as fight, flight, freeze, and fawn. Participants gain language for their experiences and a deeper understanding of why their bodies respond the way they do.
Week 3 – The Inner Critic
We examine the role of the inner critic as a protective response connected to anxiety and self-criticism. This week supports increased self-awareness and the beginning of a more compassionate relationship with internal dialogue.
Week 4 – The Roots of Perfectionism
We will explore how perfectionism develops as a survival strategy shaped by family, cultural, and relational messages. You will gain insight into the emotional origins of perfectionism and begin redefining success and self-worth beyond unrealistic expectations.
Week 5 – People-Pleasing & Relational Anxiety
We will focus on approval-seeking patterns, relational safety, and the impact of anxiety within relationships. You will gain a deeper awareness of relational dynamics and begin identifying personal needs, vulnerability, and authenticity in connection with others.
Week 6 – Boundaries Without Guilt
We will explore boundaries as an act of self-respect and care while addressing the guilt, fear, and anxiety that often accompany limit-setting. You will leave with increased clarity around your needs and greater confidence in expressing them.
Week 7 – Coping, Regulation & Emotional Resilience
This week differentiates coping from avoidance and supports you in understanding your anxiety intensity levels and regulation needs. You will build a clearer sense of what helps you stabilize, soothe, and respond to anxiety more effectively.
Week 8 – Self-Worth, Self-Compassion & Integration
The final week centers on strengthening self-worth beyond productivity, deepening self-compassion, and integrating insights from the group experience. You will get the chance to reflect on your growth and leave with a clearer sense of how to continue supporting yourself moving forward.
