You’ve spent a long time learning how to take up less space.
Reading the room. Adjusting your tone. Shrinking parts of yourself just to stay safe, accepted, or understood. And now something in you is tired of that.

I work with women of color who are carrying the weight of complex trauma, especially the kind that doesn’t always get named. The microaggressions. The quiet invalidations. The pressure to be “easy,” “strong,” or “grateful” in spaces that don’t always feel safe to fully exist in. If you’ve ever felt like you had to choose between being accepted and being yourself… I see you. I’ve lived that too.

Our work isn’t about fixing you and we all know we can't fix the world or broken systems. Our work together is about helping you come back to yourself. Remember that your voice, your boundaries, and your right to take up space without apology are what really matter. We move at your pace, honoring both your lived experiences and your resilience, while gently unpacking the patterns that once protected you but may now be holding you back.

I also work with couples, especially those navigating neurodivergence (including mixed neurotypes), who feel stuck in cycles of miscommunication, disconnection, or hurt. Whether you’re trying to rebuild after infidelity, understand each other’s needs, or just stop having the same fight on repeat, therapy becomes a space where both of you can finally feel heard and make real progress.

Because at the core, most people aren’t trying to hurt each other, they just don’t yet know how to reach each other.

If you’re ready for something different, for a space where you don’t have to explain your reality just to be believed, you’re in the right place.

My journey to become a therapist:

My therapeutic approach has been paved  by previous experiences such as working in a non-profit mental health organization, women’s transitional programs, Corporate wellness and consulting as well as working with youth and families as an educator and K-12 principal.  After completing my doctoral degree in Organizational Psychology from Pepperdine University and a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy at Alliant International University in San Diego, California, I achieved my ultimate life dream of becoming a therapist.

I specialize in Neurodivergent, LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities as well as sexuality and gender discovery. I also love working with couples who have found out about infidelity and want to work through these challenges. If you’re going through life transitions, depression, anxiety, personality/mood disorders, relationship issues or family conflict, I am here to help.

I strive to create a therapeutic practice that provides a safe, non-judgemental and nourishing client centered environment.  My therapeutic goal is to help you process your past and present so you may embrace and flourish in the next chapters of your life.

Outside of the therapy office, you can find me..

When I'm not doing  the job that I love, you'll find me at home with my fiance and our adorable furbabies.  I love to spend time surrounded by my birth and chosen family. I love the outdoors and finding ways to be artistic and adventurous.   I love yoga and pretending I can dance at my Zumba class!  I look forward to meeting you!  Let's get started on your next therapeutic adventure!

I would be a good fit for therapy if you’re looking for…

  • A therapist who is warm, compassionate, humorous, and sensitive

  • A place to explore your uniqueness and challenges you have been facing

  • A place to process difficult pieces of your history and identity or families who are looking to help their loved one through big life transitions

  • Help through difficult relational issues such as infidelity, disconnection or separation

  • A therapist who is BIPOC and/or queer identified who just gets it.
